In the past year, I've added three restaurants to my unofficial "Favorite Restaurants in Sacramento" list and thought I'd share.
Each of these places is quick and inexpensive. Although none of them will impress you with their ambiance, all three serve up fresh, no-frills food that lures me back again and again!
First off, a great new sushi joint just opened up in Rancho Cordova called Sensei Sushi. They employ a past Iron Chef winner and have amazing rolls (AMC ROLL is great) and sashimi so fresh its impressive.
Second, if you like Ramen Noodles ... the Shoki Ramen House near midtown can't be missed. It is deliciously simple and authentic. Great for lunches, but keep in mind they are closed on Mondays.
Last, I found my new favorite Sacramento Indian food being served by Mati's Indian Express. Fast and ultra friendly. You can't find more fulfilling Indian food than this. A perfect place for quick food if you are going to see a movie at the theaters on Truxel.
I love sharing a referral to a business that I've been impressed by. If you get a chance to sample any of these restaurants, ... let me know, ok? Likewise, if you have a place that serves up great food, keep me in the loop!
